FP7-project coordinator Henrik Balslev becomes doctor honoris causa in Quito

Professor Henrik Balslev has been awarded a honorary doctorate at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (PUCE), in Quito, which is one of the FP7-PALMS collaborating institutions. Professor Balslev received the honor in recognition of his 30 years work in Ecuador, during which he has contributed to the building of botany and training of students.
