Narel Paniagua Zambrana

Tropical botanist with M.Sc. degree from Aarhus University in Denmark, and from 1995 associated researcher at the National Herbarium. Her research focuses on demography, ethno-botany and conservation of Bolivian palms, with emphasis on indigenous knowledge, and she has published five articles. She has coordinated a project for a private European company about forest certification of timber and non-timber products of Bolivia.
